Are 25 de ani, este absolvent al Politehnicii, joacă baschet de 12 ani, cântă, dansează, merge cu bicicleta, râde, glumeşte, reuşeşte ca prin fiecare gest şi vorba a lui să alunge supărarea din sufletul oricăruia, iubeşte, radiază prin întreaga lui fiinţă un volum enorm de energie îndeajuns să alimenteze întregul glob, chiar şi pentru o zi.
Totul a început de la mici dureri în partea dreaptă, după o vizită la spital, a primit un răspuns rapid şi ferm:hernie abdominală. Doctorul l-a calmat şi i-a spus că e nevoie doar de o minoră intervenţie chirurgicală operaţia a avut loc la Spitalul Judetean din Ploiesti. Graba i-a determinat să nu mai facă ecografie înainte de operaţie.
După analize, atât la Ploieşti, cât şi la Spitalul Clinic Judetean Nr. 1 din Timişoara, a venit şi rezultatul biopsiei. Înainte de ziua lui de naştere, înainte să împlinească 25 de ani, doctorii au pronunţat nişte cuvinte mult prea grele pentru orice om: este cancer. Ficatul lui, deşi nu este cel al unui fumător sau al unui alcoolic, este afectat de ciroză. O hepatita B, nedepistată, pe care o avea de când era mic, este de vină.
Andi este diagnosticat cu ciroză hepatică virusală HBV compensată, hepatocarcinom de lob hepatic stâng şi tromboză de venă parte stângă.
Acum, are nevoie de un transplant de ficat. Această intervenţie nu se poate realiza în România deoarece ar însemna o listă de aşteptare care, în condiţiile afecţiunii lui, nu îi oferă nicio sansa, iar aparatura şi resursele necesare recuperării sale nu sunt disponibile în momentul de faţă la discreţie pentru pacienţi în ţară, fapt ce reprezintă un risc mult prea mare, timpul lucrând acum împotriva lui.
Şansa lui Andi este în Germania, operaţia volorând 100.000 de euro. Sunt foarte mulţi bani pentru el, dar nu o sumă imposibilă pentru noi toţi, ceilalţi care îi suntem alături. Are nevoie şi de speranţa şi rugăciunile dumneavoastră, şi orice fel de ajutor îi putem oferi.
Nu pot decât să vă rog să acţionaţi aşa cum consideraţi , gândidu-vă, chiar şi pentru o clipă la ce ar însemna să treceţi printr-o astfel de situaţie. Şansele ca el să fie bine sunt foarte mari, însă depind enorm de cei din jur. Orice ajutor reprezintă o şansă în plus ca Andrei Teodoroiu să se vindece.
