Romania va trece in noaptea de sambata spre duminica la ora oficiala de vara, ceasurile urmand sa fie date cu o ora inainte, astfel ca ora 3.00 va deveni ora 4.00, ceea ce inseamna ca vom dormi mai putin.

Ziua de duminica va fi cea mai scurta zi a anului, avand 23 de ore.
Dupa ce ceasurile vor fi date inainte cu o ora, diferenta dintre ora oficiala a Romaniei si Timpul Universal (GMT), va fi de trei ore.
In Romania ora de vara a fost introdusa pentru prima data in 1932, insa in 1943 a fost suspendata si din nou reintrodusa in 1979, scopul ei fiind reducerea iluminatului artificial. In prezent ora de vara se aplica in fiecare an, in ultima duminica din martie si ultima duminica din octombrie.

”Slumdog Milionaire”, tradus in Romania sub titlul ”Vagabondul Milionar”, va fi lansat maine in cinematografele din Romania.
Filmul in regia lui Danny Boyle, castigator a 4 Globuri de Aur, 8 premii Oscar si 7 premii BAFTA spune povestea lui Jamal Malik, un copil al strazii din Bombay, care participa la concursul ”Vrei sa fii milionar?” verisunea indiana, unde fiecare intrebare ii aminteste de cate o intamplare din trecut.
Fara sa stie carte, Jamal da raspuns dupa raspuns corect la intrebari care ar fi parut dificile chiar si pentru doctori sau avocati cu multi ani de studii, spre uimirea producatorilor concursului care ajung sa il suspecteze ca triseaza.
Pelicula are, firesc, si o poveste de dragoste. Jamal este indragostit de Latika pe care incearca neincetat sa o gaseasca.
”Slumdog Milionaire” este un film despre viata si dragoste pe care merita sa-l vezi, iar coloana sonora este deosebit de frumoasa.

Carlos Santana concerteaza la Bucuresti

Legendarul chitarist Carlos Santana ne va canta si incanta in aceasta vara, pe 4 iulie, pentru prima oara in Romania, intr-un concert live in cadrul festivalului B’estfest 2009.
Santana a adunat de-a lungul carierei sale vanzari de peste 90 de milioane de discuri, 10 premii Grammy si a fost inclus in ”Rock and Roll Hall of Fame” primind denumirea de ”lumina calauzitoare si adevarat virtuoz al muzicii rock”. De asemenea, ”Revista Rolling Stone” l-a inclus printre ”cei mai buni 100 de chitaristi ai tuturor timpurilor” dar si prin ”cei mai buni 100 de artisti ai tuturor timpurilor”.
Pe aceeasi scena, in cadrul festivalului B’estfest, vor mai urca alaturi de Carlos Santana, The Killers, Patrice, Ayo, Moby, Motorhead, Franz Ferdinand, The Charlatans.
Biletele pentru o zi la B’estfest costa 110 lei pana pe 1 aprilie, 130 de lei in perioada 2 aprilie-30 iunie si 150 de lei pe durata festivalului si la intrare.
